Music Heritage Hike & Performance – Thursday, May 26

Join a guided 4-mile hike through hardwood forests and wildflower-drenched meadows. After an hour of walking among the sights and sounds of beautiful natural habitats, you’ll start to hear mountain music in the distance. Following those sounds along a forested trail, we will find ourselves back at our starting location where we can snack (bring a picnic lunch!) while listening to local musicians telling stories and playing mountain music tunes. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Roots of American Music Museum which is free and open for your viewing pleasure.
