The Willis Gap Community Center Open Jam has been jamming for over (25) twenty five years. Every Friday Night, 6 pm – 10 pm. Located at 144 The Hollow Road, Ararat, VA 24053. Just a few miles from The Blue Ridge Parkway, (Mabry’s Mill), Meadows of Dan, (Primland Auberge), Andy Griffith hometown, Mount Airy, NC (Mayberry)
Kitchen opens 6:00 pm with snacks: Hotdogs, Chips, Candy, Cakes, Coffee, Sodas. All proceeds go to the Community Center. Music begins 7:00 pm – 10 pm. All skilled levels invited. Acoustic instruments, playing Appalachian Heritage Old Time, Blue Grass, Country, Gospel. Invite your family, friends, neighbors for Good Food, Fun, Fellowship, Family Friendly, Music, Dancing, 50/50 Drawing. Southern Hospitality at it’s best!
