The Crooked Road’s annual Youth Fiddler’s Convention will take place April 18th, 2026 at the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace. Registration is FREE, and begins at 11:00 AM, with the competition to start at 12:00 PM.
The Crooked Road invites all participants to join our free workshop at 11:00 AM. This workshop, hosted by a local musician, will teach young musicians the skills needed to play together as a group.

Rules and Regulations:
- All contestants must be 18 years and under – participants must have a parent/guardian to accompany contestants at registration.
- Only string instruments are permitted.
- Each contestant may have one accompanist.
- Bands are limited to 7 members – no adults permitted.
