Gatewood Park Campground and Reservoir is 400 scenic acres nestled in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain Region of Southwest Virginia. Surrounded by the Jefferson National Forest and located near the Town of Pulaski, Gatewood is accessible from Interstates 81 and 77 and offers exciting recreational opportunities for the entire family.
Paddling, Fishing, Boating: Our 162 acre mountain lake is perfect for stand up paddle-boarding, kayaking, fishing, or boating in one of our trolling motor powered fishing boats. Whatever you need for your adventure! The Boathouse at Gatewood can provide rentals at half-day or daily rates. Souvenirs, snacks, camp supplies, firewood, live bait, and fishing supplies are also available.
Hiking, Biking, Relaxing: Whether you are looking to hike or mountain bike, we have trails for you at Gatewood Park. Looking to spend the day relaxing? The day use area at Gatewood is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Pulaski County.
Camping: Join us for camping or glamping at Gatewood Park, we have 36 campsites with full hookups for RV’s, campers and tents, 17 of our sites are waterfront premium sites. All campground sites are full hook ups with up 50amp service and we are pet friendly. We also have a 2 bedroom cabin, Airstream & Shasta camper, glamping yurt and glamping tent for overnight accommodations at Gatewood.
