A Blue Ridge Cabin is an authentic, privately owned cabin, constructed of hand-hewn hemlock, located just a short distance off Mile Post 177 of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Meadows of Dan. The cabin has a master bedroom with queen bed, a loft with queen and twin beds, and a futon in the living room. The full kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and plates/pots/pans, etc. The bathroom has a full shower, full-size washer/dryer, and plenty of linens and towels. The living room/dining room has a wonderful gas fireplace and 39″ HDTV. It comes with complementary high-speed internet. The back deck has three rocking chairs, a wicker love seat, and a charcoal grill. Parking is right at the front door. The cabin is privately nestled in a snug corner, bordered on two sides by trees. You’ll love sitting on the back deck in the early morning with a cup of coffee or tea, listening to the birds, or later at night to the wind blowing through the trees. On the premises are the Crooked Road Cafe and a consignment/antiques/ice cream shop. Nearby is the Parkway, Floyd, Rocky Knob, and Mabry Mill.
