Camp Ketahe is named after the Shawnee Indian phrase “ni kitehi thiipi” which means my heart is at the river. Camp Ketahe sleeps 8-9: 1Q, 2D, 1set bunks, 1 daybed, 2 full bathrooms, fully furnished kitchen, Satellite TV/VCR/DVD and fully furnished laundry room. It has central heating and air, private telephone line, and a large covered deck with a mountainous view overlooking the New River. Outside is a grill, picnic tables, outdoor shower, fish cleaning table and plenty of firewood for your campfires. There is also a large lawn for children or pets to play on. It is perfect for family gatherings. Nearby activities include fishing, swimming, tubing, kayaking, boating, bicycling, horseback riding, golf and shopping. We are across the river from the 57-mile New River Trail. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also not far away.
