More About Country Store Antiques

Country Store Antiques is located in the historic E. P. Jolly Store which operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The building remained vacant for many years until the present owners, Brenda and Steve Browder, opened the antiques shop in 1992. The building is almost all original, including the working shutters on the front windows. The shop is located 13 miles west of Emporia, 22 miles east of South Hill and 5 miles east of lawrenceville. It is open every weekend, most days in the summer and by appointment. Most items in the shop are either antique or good collectibles. There is also used furniture, including Biggs, paintings, crystal, glass, primitives, and great sterling silver items. Last year a second building was opened to accommodate more furniture and prints and paintings. Make us a stop on Route 58.
