The park overlooks a pond on the rolling countryside of what was once the Edmunds’ dairy farm.The park offers many activities including horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, children’s playground, Serenity Garden, fishing and several pavillions with grills. In addition, this park has one of the best disc golf facilities in the state.
The Southern Virginia Botanical Gardens are located just beyond the Serenity Garden.
The park closes at sunset.
