Jamison Mill Park, located in Franklin County, is a beautiful spot for scenic panoramic views of Philpott Lake, a 3,000 acre lake with 100 miles of pristine undeveloped shoreline surrounded by 10,500 acres of forested land in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The clear water and natural shoreline make Philpott Lake a unique place for every sportsman and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the outdoors. 

The 300+ acre park, named for its historic mill site, features over 6 miles of interconnected loop trails for hiking and biking, and provides opportunities for paddling, swimming, camping, and fishing. For those that just want to relax and enjoy nature there is an abundance of wildlife to view such as turkeys, squirrels, raccoons, as well as a variety of songbirds and waterfowl.
