The Farm serves as a hub for environmental and agricultural education as well as a premier event center for weddings, musical events, and the annual Pumpkin Festival, Sunflower Festival, Wine Festival, and School Field Trips. Sinkland Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival runs six weekends the end of September, through October and into the first weekend of November. The Pumpkin Festival is jam-packed with activities, live music, food trucks, arts & crafts vendors, and fun for the whole family. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch, make your way through a mind boggling 5-acre corn maze, and visit with Sinkland’s farm animals. We feature Ride-a-Rescue horseback trail rides, pony rides, a huge kid’s zone with a barrel train ride, giant slide, kids zip line, giant jump pad, spider rope climber and many games. Kids of all ages can see tractors and our other farm equipment. Some attractions at extra charge. Have your face painter design a specialty to wear throughout the day. Plus, enjoy live music with beer & wine on the terrace, and food trucks on-site.
Punkin’ Chunkin’ will be slinging pumpkins with their new catapult on Oct 5th and 6th. Everyone always enjoys Sinkland’s entertainment such as blacksmith demonstrations, Acapella groups, visits with the scarecrow and princess, and watching pig racing. The festival grounds include the area’s most noted Arts & Crafts vendors and Pop-up Boutiques.

Sinkland Farms has won the prestigious titles of 3rd BEST Pumpkin Patch in the nation and 6th BEST Corn Maze in the nation by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards just in time for Sinkland Farms’ 33rd Annual Pumpkin Festival which runs 6 weekends, Sept. 27-Nov. 3. Sinkland Farms is the only Virginia farm listed in the top 10 for best pumpkin patch.

With several different sunflower varieties, 5 acres of sunflower fields, and thousands of blooms, our Sunflower Festival is a unique and beautiful experience that you won’t want to miss!
Sinkland Farms Sunflower Festival includes acres of summer sunflowers perfect for decorations and arrangements, Kidz Zone full of fun – giant slide, playground, play stations, barrel rides, & much more. Plus attendees can browse Local Arts & Crafts vendors, visit with Farm-ily Animals, visit the cottage shop, and sip Beer & Wine on the terrace.
