Third Avenue is home to Danville’s first splash pad. This scenic park is located in the Third Avenue neighborhood near Fire Station Number 5.
Amenities include splash pad with adjoining sheltered picnic tables, public restrooms, playground, paved parking lot, additional sheltered and unsheltered seating areas/picnic tables away from splash pad area.
Third Avenue Splash Pad Rules:
Glass containers, tobacco/smoking/vaping, and pets are prohibited.
Food, candy, gum, and beverages of all types are prohibited in the splash area.
Unreserved gatherings/events are prohibited.
Adult supervision is recommended for children under 13.
Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.
Proper swim attire is required. Water shoes recommended.
Pool toys, water balloons, floats, and chairs are prohibited.
Soaps/detergents/shampoos are prohibited.
Bathing of any kind is prohibited.
Use of splash pad during inclement weather is prohibited.
Running, pushing, and rough play are prohibited. Play surface may be slippery when wet.
Climbing/hanging from equipment is prohibited.
Bicycles/skateboards/scooters/etc. are prohibited.
No concessions should be sold on the property without the proper permitting.
Grilling is prohibited.
