Thornfield farm is a family operation. Susanna Thornton’s parents, John and Linda, have been working the land since before she was born. Susanna is the 2nd generation of her family to farm the land.
With just under 300 acres of rolling pasture land in Botetourt County, the farm has long been home to grass-fed beef cattle and free-range chickens. They even managed two different dairy herds early in the farm’s life. However, this will be the first year producing organic vegetables for sale and are looking forward to working with you to make this new chapter in the farm’s history a success!
