More About Town of Troutville Park

The Troutville Town Park is as well known locally as it is to hikers of the Appalachian Trail and cyclists on the Transamerica Trial (Route 76). There are several shelters for picnicking, a quarter-mile paved walking trail, and plenty of playground equipment for just playing with the children. Located close to an AT trailhead and on the stretch of Route 76 through Botetourt County, hikers and cyclists can be found taking a break from their journey under shade trees in the park. The Annual Party in the Park is held in early September each year.
