A marvelous mountain lodge completed in 2002 and set on top of a ridge in the middle of 175 acres with long vistas in all directions. This mountain getaway is located just four miles from the village of Hot Springs and the Homestead Resort. Guests at Winding Ridge are eligible to take advantage of all the amenities and activities available at the resort including golf, tennis, spa, swimming, exercise room, horseback riding, sporting clays, trout fishing and dining. Much of the adjoining land and view-shed of Winding Ridge is part of the George Washington National Forest. Because of this there is not another house in sight, and hardly a light visible at night!  The lodge offers a great room with stone fireplace, study with sofa bed and adjoining full bath, master bedroom with a queen sized bed and en suite bath. Second bedroom has a antique double bed and shares a bath with the third bedroom which has three single beds.   The screened porch and beautiful stone terrace provide outdoor living and dining space as well.    $750  for two nights, additional nights $250.
