The Billy Sample Field at Kiwanis Park is home to the Salem High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball Teams and the Roanoke College Men’s Baseball Team. This facility hosts many events which draw state and national athletes as well as spectators to the City of Salem. The events held at Kiwanis can range from youth, adult, and high school players to collegiate and national level players. The organizations that predominately use Kiwanis Park are NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), VHSL (Virginia High School League), American Legion Baseball, Junior American Legion Baseball, AAU (Amateur Athletic Union), VAS (Virginia Amateur Sports), ODAC (Old Dominion Athletic Conference) and Virginia Dixie Boys Baseball. The City of Salem, Virginia and the Billy Sample Field at Kiwanis Park take great pride in hosting local, high school, collegiate and national championship tournaments with the highest of standards.
