The best and most accurate word for me to describe the attraction to tree climbing is �magic�. We understood the true meaning of the word as children when most of us started climbing, but as we supposedly grew up our gaze went from the tree tops to the desk tops. If you cannot remember the meaning of childhood magic, or do remember and want to get it back, then I suggest you simply climb a tree again. The basic act of changing your angle on the world will definitely change your outlook and your attitude. If you are in reasonably good shape, regardless of your age, then you can learn to climb a tree on rope. My method is simple and you can pick up the basics in a weekend of training.
