If it is handmade or homegrown in Pittsylvania County, it is likely that you can find it at Competition Alley Farmers’ Market!  Local farmers offer fresh fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, eggs, honey, breads, flowers, herbs, canned goods, cakes, and cookies.  Local artisans offer all-natural body products, beeswax candles, bags, chair massage, and leather goods.  Sponsored by Chatham First, Inc., the market always offers free gifts, face painting, and/or balloons to kids, and many vendors offer samples of their wonderful products to snack upon while you shop.  The market runs every Tuesday evening, 4:30 – 6:30 pm, from May through October.
