The Independence Farmer’s Market is open on Fridays from May 1 til the second weekend in October, starting with Grayson Earth Day Festival and ending with the Mountain Foliage Festival. Vendors at the market offer pasture raised natural meats, veggies and produce including heirloom varieties, baked and canned goods and periodically craft and yard sale vendors join the market. Enjoy breakfast and lunch at the market with fresh quiche, muffins, brownies and a lunch special weekly.
