The Farmers Market in Independence has a variety of fruits/vegetables, locally raised meats and eggs, flowers, crafts, and canned/baked goods. Recipes, weekly kids activities, monthly festivals, growers workshops, cooking classes, and more can also be found there. The market is open on Fridays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Pick-up on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6.  You can order year-round on their website.
