The Joseph S.J. Tanner Environmental Education Center offers a chance to get “hands on” and experience some of the native wildlife in the area. It’s a great chance to learn about local bird and mammal species and have the opportunity to feel real animal furs.
Also, check out the Butterfly Garden out front of the Tanner Center. It’s a great place for the pollinator enthusiast to observe and photograph these beautiful creatures.
