It has been a year to remember for the Don & Barbara Smith Children’s Museum – Kids Square. Since opening its doors on August 15, 2017 the children of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas have found a safe, educational and wonderful place to explore, play & learn! This fun museum is geared towards children ages 10 and under.

The 15,000-square-foot museum is full of interactive, educational, multi-sensory exhibits with an emphasis on hands-on learning. Some of the exhibits include a Town, Theater, Forest, Dig Pit, Building Area, Sensory Cove, 811 Interactive Zone and a Black Light Glow Room and much more to come!

Monday: Closed (Reserved for Field Trips & Large Groups)
Tuesday: 10 am – 5 pm
Wednesday: 10 am – 5 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 5 pm
Friday: 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm
