Lake Gaston is a vacation home dream! Located on the border of Virginia and North Carolina, Lake Gaston is roughly 35 miles long and covers over 20,000 acres with 350 miles of shoreline.
Lake Gaston has long been popular for fishing and other water recreation including activities such as boating, swimming, water skiing and wakeboarding. In Virginia, visitors can gain access to the lake at Holly Grove Marina and at the public DGIF boat launch near Tanglewood Shores Country Club.
Boat and kayak rentals are available at Holly Grove Marina, and lakefront camping is available at Lake Gaston Americamps. The Rosemont Winery is nearby, and is open year-round for tastings and events.
