The Meadowbrook Museum is located in Shawsville’s Meadowbrook Center, next to the Meadowbrook branch of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library. The museum features historic artifacts, documents, and photos relating to Eastern Montgomery County. This section of the county once included six plantations and three resorts centered around the natural springs of the area. The museum serves as an educational resource for local students in learning about the past history of their community and individuals researching their family genealogy.
