The Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech is a daily fee public golf course located in Southwest Virginia between Blacksburg and Radford. Golf Digest gave the course a near perfect 4.5 Star Ranking as one of the “Best Places to Play” in America. It is a championship 18 hole course with five sets of tees to offer a fun and challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The course winds along 2.5 miles of the scenic New River and offers panoramic views on every hole. “The River” has a complete practice facility with driving range, chipping and putting greens, a fully stocked pro-shop as well as a complete teaching center.
