More About Stellina

Stellina (it means ‘Little Star’ in Italian) is a tiny bar secretly hidden within the authentic Italian restaurant Fortunato, which is located in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. The bar occupies the former office space for the owners of Fortunato and Lucky, and it has its own unmarked street entrance. The connection to the restaurant itself is an unassuming door that leads to Fortunato’s rest rooms. There are 8 bar seats and the entire room can cozily seat about 20 people. The bar serves craft cocktails; some are classics (Negroni, Americano, Tom and Jerry) and some are new concoctions like “Oh Sherry” and “At The End of the Day.” Every cocktail is made with precision and contains the finest liquors and an assortment of ingredients ranging from egg whites to fresh mint or basil and also house made tonics and syrups and even ice cubes. If patrons are hungry, they can of course order Neapolitan style pizzas or the spicy bar nut mix that is made solely for Stellina.
