Twin Ridge Recreation Area is ideally located at the center of Philpott Lake, a 3000 acre lake with 100 miles of shoreline nestled among the rolling foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The lake’s clear water and natural shoreline make it a unique place for visitors to enjoy numerous recreational opportunities. 

Twin Ridge is open year-round. It offers swimming, picnicking, hiking, biking, wildlife observation, and a customized facility for boating and fishing. Anglers enjoy fishing for large and small mouth bass, walleye, bluegill, crappie and catfish.
