Personal, attentive service is part of every event at the Vinton War Memorial. Staff is on hand and happy to assist with event planning, caterer selection, setup and cleanup. Our intention is to help create wonderfully memorable events for hosts and their guests. The Vinton War Memorial was conceived as the centerpiece of an 11-acre memorial park to be enjoyed by the living while honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in World War II. The park was finished in 1946 and the two-story brick building was dedicated and opened to the public on August 20, 1948.
