More About Virginia's Crossroads

Virginia’s Crossroads is home to eleven counties, two cities and multiple State and National parks. As a region, we are home to a land of beautiful rolling hills, winding waters, and hidden treasures to be explored. Each locality offers a unique experience from outdoor adventures to historical sites and everything in between. We’re excited to welcome you to your adventure in Virginia’s Crossroads.

Virginia’s Crossroads is also the creator of the Civil Rights in Education Heritage Trail. The trail features more than 50 sites of historical significance to African-American education across the Southern Virginia region. Each site is marked with interpretive signage and photographs. This is a self guided tour and more information can be found at vacrossroads.com.
