The Grayson County Old Time and Bluegrass Fiddlers’ Convention is held annually the last full weekend in June at the Elk Creek School Ball Park. The Grayson County Fiddler’s Convention has preserved and celebrated mountain music and the culture of Southwest Virginia since 1967. Its mission is not only to preserve the artistic heritage of Grayson County, but also the people of the Elk Creek community.
The Fiddlers’ Convention offers a small town feel, plenty of friendly faces and amazing mountain and valley views. Musicians, families, and travelers all have a place at the convention. Individual, band, and youth categories are available for musicians to compete and meet other musicians.
