Song of the Mountains is an award winning television series of Bluegrass, Old Time, Celtic, and Americana music recorded live at the Lincoln Theater in Marion, Virginia. The concerts are rebroadcast on public TV channels nationwide. The beautifully restored Lincoln Theatre is famed for its Mayan decorative motif and six large murals on the inside walls depicting key moments in American history. The live concerts, hosted by Tim White, feature four to six artists at every performance and the show has featured local, regional, and nationally known artists like Doc Watson and Dr. Ralph Stanley.
